Obituary for Kermit "Buddy" Coffey

Kermit “Buddy” Coffey, age 87 of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Friday June 8, 2018 at his home. He was born August 26, 1930 in Okineta, Virginia to the late William and Pearl Burgan Coffey. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Foley and by 2 brothers. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and Williamsburg Masonic Lodge #490. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife Galena Coffey of Williamsburg, Ky., 1 son ; Bruce Coffey (Debbie) of Denellon, Florida, 2 grandchildren; Kristy Creekmore (Chris) of Williamsburg, Ky. and Mandy Baker of Ocala, Florida, 3 great grandchildren; Hannah Creekmore, Gunnar Creekmore and Aislynn Baker, 1 sister; Jean Black of Florence, Ky., 2 brothers; Fred Coffey of Cincinnati, Ohio and Charles Coffey of Louisville, Ky., several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Ellison Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Lowrie and Rev. Donnie Bruce Patrick officiating. Interment will be in the Ida Bennett Croley Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12 Noon until funeral hour at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be conducted at 2 pm by Williamsburg Masonic Lodge #490
Pallbearers will be Harry Siler, Robert Helton, Donnie Rains, Don Lunce, Ralph Lynch and Scotty Mullis.
